About Us
Translational Research
The Translational Research in Affect and Cognition (TRAC) Lab engages in translational psychology research--research that bridges the gap between theory and practice, by developing and testing interventions that improve the impact of education, therapeutic practice, and policy on mental health. At the TRAC Lab, the "translational" in the title refers to the use of traditional cognitive- and neuro-psychology methods (typically EEG) to inform scientific understanding of the basis and development of mood and anxiety disorders.
