VICR Study

Research Goal

Investigating the effect of interpersonal experiences and relationships effect neural reward processing.

Participant Eligibility

McGill Undergraduate students

Age:
 
Adults aged 18 to 24

Language:
All participants must speak either French or English fluently

Availability:

All participants must be available for a 2 hour in-person lab visit

Study Components

Total Compensation

Qualified participants receive:
$25 in cash for the full lab visit ($6.25 / 30 min)

Step 1

Lab Visit: non-EEG Tasks

Paired (Two-Participant) Activity:

- Each participant is paired with another participant for a 'friendship activity'

Solo (One-Participant) Activity:

- An online questionnaire

Step 2

Lab Visit: EEG Task

Participant Activity:

- Complete 3 computer games while your brain activity is monitored by EEG
